Novartis Consumer Health Launches Excedrin^® Back & Body
March 1, 2007—Novartis Consumer Health, Inc. today announced the launch of Excedrin^® Back & Body, a completely new choice for targeting tough pains.

New Excedrin^® Back & Body is specially formulated to provide a boost of fast, powerful relief. Its unique dual-ingredient formula works in two ways—as a pain reliever and a pain blocker right where it hurts.

Excedrin has been a leading innovator in pain relief for more than 45 years since the introduction of Extra Strength Excedrin^®, the first analgesic formulated specifically for headaches. Other Excedrin firsts include:

• Excedrin PM: the first non-prescription pain reliever with sleep aid (1969)
