Novartis Consumer Health Launches Excedrin® Back & Body

March 1, 2007—Novartis Consumer Health, Inc. today announced the launch of Excedrin® Back & Body, a new choice for targeting tough pains.

New Excedrin® Back & Body is specially formulated to provide fast, powerful pain relief. Its unique dual-ingredient formula works in two ways—as a pain reliever and a pain blocker right where it hurts.

Excedrin has been a leading innovator in pain relief for over 40 years since the introduction of Extra Strength Excedrin®, the first analgesic formulated specifically for headaches. Other Excedrin firsts include:

• Excedrin PM: the first non-prescription pain reliever with sleep aid (1983)
