FAST FIX: HOW TO REMOVE PET HAIR FROM FURNITURE
De-shag your couch in seconds.
Friends are coming over in five minutes and your sofa is looking shaggier than a carpet thanks to your cat’s or dog’s recent lounging. You need that hair off in a hurry! Don’t go rummaging around for a lint roller or go through the trouble of finding the upholstery attachment to your vacuum — just head over to the kitchen sink. A damp rubber glove will serve as the fast fix you need to get the couch guest-ready.
Moisten (don’t drench) a dishwashing glove and run your hand over the parts of the upholstery covered in pet hair. The glove will pick up the hair, leaving your couch pristine. If you are hard-pressed to find a rubber glove, you can try a damp washcloth or a dry kitchen sponge instead. Headache, Gone.
Just make sure the pets don’t hop back up while you’re rinsing the glove in the sink!
