LOOKING FOR A BETTER WAY TO MANAGE YOUR MIGRAINES? WE CAN HELP

Learn more about migraine management.

Even if you’ve been suffering from migraines for a few years, you might be interested in learning more about the condition — and finding better ways to manage it. In fact, in our recent Millennial Migraine Report, surveying 1,000 female migraine sufferers ages 18 to 64, 79 percent of Millennial migraine sufferers surveyed said they wished they had better techniques for managing their migraines.

Here are a few things you might consider again, or for the first time, if you’re looking for new ways to manage the condition. (Note that you should see a doctor to get a definitive migraine diagnosis and proper treatment).

Tracking Your Triggers

In our survey, 90 percent of Millennial migraine sufferers surveyed said they do not use apps to manage their condition. Migraine triggers are different for everyone, and one way to learn about yours is to track your activity in a migraine diary. Tracking what you eat and the things you do and don’t do before a migraine attack can help a doctor make a diagnosis by establishing patterns and possible triggers.

Watch What You Eat

Did you know that certain foods can be migraine triggers for some? Learn more about tyramine’s link to migraines (tyramine is a compound found in aged foods), and also consider some food swaps that may reduce your pain. Dining out sometime soon? Don’t let a migraine ruin it. Here’s what to order to help avoid migraines.

Excedrin Migraine is indicated for those 18 and over. If you are under 18 years of age, consult a doctor before using this product. See more information about Excedrin Migraine.
